The Square townhouse Fermoy

The Square townhouse is in an excellent location in Fermoy and was great value for money. I had a very comfortable stay and the owner Ray was we,coming and friendly.

The property was clean throughout and very comfortable and in a central location.

All was good.

The bathroom was modern with new fittings. The bedroom furniture was comfortable, and the sheets and towels were new, fresh and clean. The welcome from Ray was great

The bedroom was tiny with no table. The view in the description was from a common room on another floor, I had a gable end and roofs. The hairdryer and coffee maker are in the shared kitchen on another floor. Access is up two narrow flights of stairs. Noise from the corridor and other rooms was pretty much constant. It felt more like a hostel with private room than a hotel.

Fabulous property - very clean, comfortable and unexpectedly quiet and peaceful, given how very central it is. Lovely kitchen diner and lounge room where you can relax and look out to the river. Centrally located with everything you need close by - shops, restaurants, bus stops, and the beautiful river and walks. Ray the owner is super friendly and helpful. Was at first a bit unsure about lack of oven and hob, but there is a sandwich press style grill and toaster which was fine for the very little cooking we did. As it was, the local cafes and restaurants are plentiful, close by and good quality and value, so cooking wasn't needed. You can even get a take away full fry up breakfast just round the corner, if you'd rather eat back at the property or down by the river. Was also very happy to find a hairdryer and straighteners.
