Putra Guest House

I chose to stay at Putra Homestay in Mas to escape the busier parts of Ubud, and I’m so glad I did. Martini and her family were incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Each morning started with a coffee and breakfast overlooking the beautiful rice fields, a peaceful ritual I quickly came to love. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with strong Wi-Fi and great air conditioning. I enjoyed it so much I ended up extending my stay twice. If you're visiting Ubud and want a quiet, authentic base with great hospitality, I’d highly recommend it.

No complaints, everything was excellent

First thing we loved was the amazing view outside the window: rice terraces were amazing and seeing sunrise and sunset there has been so beautiful. Also the people hosting us made our stay much better: they were always helpful, nice and friendly.

Unfortunately the hot/warm water doesn’t last longer (maybe 5 minutes maximum).

The view from the balcony was the best part. The room was basic with near clean facilities. Good friendly host. Loved it there.

Martini and her family are the most wholesome, kind and welcoming humans on this Earth. The pics on the site don't even begin to describe the beauty, tranquility and peace you can experience there. 7 min ride from the central of Ubud in exchange for peace of mind in the evening and during the night - plus you get to see Mt Agung, an active volcano from your bed.. right behind the ricefield that's just under your room. Anything I needed they helped me with even when I got injured slipping with the motorbike. Water pressure is perfect and hot water everyday. Gekkos are cruising outside of the room but they eat the mosquitos and are terribly afraid of people (literally will run if they see you). Wifi was ok, it was intermittent for a day because of some damage in the antenna but mostly worked just fine. Total value for money plus you get to see the authentic face of Ubud as well.

Really nice place in the middle of the rice field, 10min to the Ubud centre, owner was nice and helpful.

No shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, no choice of breakfast, the just tell you what you will get.

Very nice view! Clean! Friendly host! Good breakfast! Will be come back if I stay in Bali and ride motorcycle

Ac is not really cold but works fine

We had a couple of days at Putra Guest House. First of all, the view is amazing. House faces the rice fields, and the vibe is relaxing and chill. The family who ran this place was very hospitable, but communication was problematic from time to time because they couldn’t speak English properly.

Some things that can be improved : Breakfast: small portion, monotonous. The room was clean, but the shared kitchen was dirty and not appropriate for cooking. Yard area is unkempt and a bit gloomy.
