Great location in the heart of the western Carpathian Mountains, with a variety of hikes starting right from the door. Shower was better than expected with hot, good pressure water - welcome after a day's hiking.

When booking, it was indicated I was getting the last room, and therefore I understood the higher price, but when I arrived it was relatively empty.

Great location and facilities. The hosts and staff were very warm and hospitable, anticipating our needs and proactively offering support (e.g. replacement shoes). The menu for breakfast and dinner was varied, well balanced and tasted great too. Being so close to the main attraction Cetatile Ponorului, we had more time to explore the caves and around without a tight schedule.

Internet connectivity is less than stellar, thanks also to generally low signal levels in the area and beyond.
