Minshuku Kakutani Hitohira - Vacation STAY 16023v

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. He picked me up from the train station and drove me to the accommodation during check in.

A guest house close to Wada camp site and the beach. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The place is newly built and very clean. I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay at Noaki's place.

Beautiful, new, and clean home. Wonderful owner and family. (Not sure how much English he can speak.) The location is literally a short walk from amazing Wada Beach, so it is would be great for a weekend or so just relaxing. Parking right in front of the home.

It was hard to find the location, the pin on the maps isn't quite where I thought it would be. There is only one shower in the house, so although I never had a problem, I could imagine there would be times I would have to wait.

The very friendly host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station which was very nice. We enjoyed our stay at Wakasa blue beach very much! thank you!

We had a great stay at Naoki`s place. It was super close to the beach and local restaurants and we could walk to all major attractions. The room and house were clean and comfortable. Naoki was a friendly and attentive host who was kind enough to pick us up and drop us to the local train station. He took time to show us around the town on the drive and pointed out local attractions he recommended for us to check out. We would highly recommend staying here!

Our stay in Wakasa-Wada was very lovely and not last thanks to our lovely host who was so kind to not only come and pick us up by car at the train station but also to come and get us even further away when we were not able to get out of the train at the correct train station. He was very reactive to the messages we sent so communication went really well too. He also offered to deposit us at the train station and organised storage for our luggage during the day of our departures which was beyond kind of him. Thank you so much ! The room was very modern, proper, clean and tidy and we slept really well on the futons. We had enough blankets too, and a A/C so we were equipped for a good nights sleep in all weather conditions. The house is modern and well equipped for a B&B.

Very clean and new appearance. The house looks like it was finished last week. Western visitors should note that the interior is very minimalist. Only a low table and futon to roll out on the floor of the guest room. This is not a flaw, as it is designed to be in the traditional Minshuku style. Just something to be aware of. A few minutes walk from the beach. Sleepy little town. A nice break from the crowds of Kyoto.

Shower room was rather cold (visited in November). This would not be an issue in a warmer season.
