NLWe had a nice room near the river. Restaurant is excellent with nice view over river. Very pleasant owners. I recommend this hotel.

GBWe liked staying in Hampi village/bazaar near to one of the major heritage sites. The view over the river from Archana Guest House balcony restaurant was beautiful. The family were friendly and the food served on the balcony was all fresh cooked and good.
The rooms were small, dark and grubby. There was no sound proofing although described on booking.com as soundproofed. The private veranda was used by all and sundry including people who were not guests at Archana. The shower/toilet was very smelly, and the wall tiles could have done with a clean. There was nowhere to put our suitcases but the floor. The handwashing basin was very small and the tap was badly fitted, swivelling round when you tried to turn it on or off. We understood later that breakfast should have been included with our room. If so, we were never informed and paid for all our breakfasts.
