Great location and excellent value for money with the parking and breakfast included. Room was spotless and little extras to make the stay even better. Breakfast was great and had plenty of choices to choose from. Couple minute walk to the shops or to the front by the sea.

Tim and Shelley were absolutely amazing hosts! Very attentive and catered for my intolerance They went above and beyond Compliments to the chef also! Food was delicious Will deffo be booking to stay here again Close to the local train station and everything practically on your doorstep! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay

The hosts, Tim and Shelley, were superb, the sort of people I can get on with and like. The breakfast was very good and the hosts very helpful in terms of getting me sorted, when asked. The guest house is situated very well for access to the town, the bus station and railway station. I would not hesitate in recommending Glenthorne to anyone. Very good 👍😊

I could've done without being two floors up but the hosts weren't aware of my poor mobility. My room wasn't enough suited but I made the most of a very good toilet and shower room.

Shelly and Tim where extremely friendly and helpful., contacting us b4 our arrival , with parking details and checking in times. We didn't use parking as had train. Very accommodating, letting us check in early and leave our bags on last day as our train was after chevk6 out. Spotlessly clean, lovely choice for breakfast. Comfy bed, nice bedding. Our room was small but that's what we paid for. They most certainly made the most of the space with bedside cabinets , chest of drawers. Little plinth to sit , hanging space . Everything you need . Shower room again was fab 👌

Fabulous stay at the Glenthorne ,great location and very comfortable , owners could'nt have done anything else to make our stay so pleasant. We will definitly return here.

Shelly and Tim are amazing people. Think they were born for hospitality. Absolutely warm welcome, delicious variety selection of breakfast, the location was great, room was spotless and our stay was amazing. Highly recommended.

Didn’t stay long enough, but will surely come back. Rooms are sold out quiet often, so if you see this available, think no further!
