HIDDEN HEAVEN Rumah Barong

The host was exceptional, always ready to help, giving advice and a very good cook :) The location was amazing, a real hidden heaven ! The decoration was very well done, the house staff was lovely, and the valet service was perfect: we had a driver for our tours and to take us to Lovina, with a good level of English and ideal driving quality.

- Andre, probably the most peculiar host we’ve ever met. It was great spending time with him and being his guests. - The house is simply gorgeous, as are the garden and the pool. A great place to relax. It is located just next to the ocean and you can chill in the garden while listening to the waves sound. - staying in a one-room only home stay is something peculiar. It was a tremendous experience.

Andre’s property is very peaceful, the gardens are beautiful and the pool is very nice as a place to relax and cool off. The accommodation is charming.

The location is just a short walk to Jasri beach and there are a couple of cafes/warungs nearby. You will need transport to travel to shops/restaurants, we hired a scooter.

Fantastic place to stay - really interesting location, a bit of the beaten track but still plenty to do and see. Andre was a wonderful host and chef- the food (and wine) was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was great.

From the moment you step inside the gate, you know you are somewhere special. You are greeted by the host Andre who shows you through the property and immediately makes you feel at home. The grounds are immaculate as are the accommodations and the feeling you get is like no one else exists. We felt like royalty, which is how you are treated the entire time. Breakfast was delicious and dinner with Andre is an experience not to be missed. The name “Hidden Heaven” sums up the property beautifully. We can’t wait to stay again and again. Thank you Andre.

We loved everything about our stay!! The room is traditional style, with a lovely sitting area undercover and an outside deck. I used the yoga platform every day with the mat provided. The garden & pool are beautifully maintained and so lush. It is a salt water pool, which is so much better to swim in. The host Andre, is so friendly and welcoming that we felt quite at home during our stay. The meals he cooked us, breakfast daily and 3 dinners, were some of the best meals we have ever eaten in Bali. All from fresh local ingredients. The dogs need a mention too, super friendly and joined us on our walks. A wonderful relaxing 6 days. Thank you Andre 🙏

Your host, Andre, and his staff do all they can to offer an extraordinary experience. In fact there is only one bungalow for guests, which means that the grounds and pool are at your entire disposition. Tastefully decorated, the guest bungalow and main house are little museums offering insight into Andrés travels through Europe, Africa, and Asia. André is eager to share his stories from his private kitchen where he prepares lunch and meals upon advanced request. An exceptional breakfast is included in the morning!

Be aware that if you’re new on the motorbike, the access road is muddy in the rainy season. Take it slowly, and you’ll be fine!

It was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. I was satisfied with everything, I felt that the special coffee and delicious dinner prepared by the host were the best treats! Interacting with the cute puppies was also healing itself, and I could feel the host's consideration and sense in every single things!!
