The Jungle Apartments and Rooms (Vila Džungla)

Comfortable, 15min walking from the lake, shop round thé corner. Quiet place.

Location and hosts were very amazing. Place was very clean.

AC would have been nice considering the heat. Place was a bit smaller than anticipated.

Nice neighborhood, parking at property was helpful.

BE AWARE: The advertisement for “The Jungle” stated A/C at the property. It did not say some units do NOT have that amenity. We were extremely disappointed to find out upon arrival that our unit did not have A/C. Furthermore, no screens on the windows created a problem to keep windows open and bugs out. When we requested at least a fan to help (as we were traveling with our dog), we were told none were available. I will include photo of the property ad to help the next guest. Be sure to ASK if you have A/C in your unit before you arrive. I’m sure it’s ok for winter, but not in the heat of summer. When asked if we could please cancel the reservation, the owner was not willing to help us.

Very convenient for public transport and the sites in and around Lake Bled. The apartment was in a quiet residential convenient for the supermarket and bus service. Just a 10 minute walk to the Lake. The apartment was spacious with separate kitchen, lounge and bedroom along with an outdoor table and chairs. Hostess was welcoming and friendly

Shower curtain was too short so water spilt out over the bathroom floor. Lack of certain kitchen utensils e.g. only 1 wine glass. No ice cube tray or oven gloves for hot items. Some of the cutlery needed additional cleaning before use although dishwasher was welcome during our stay. The shared entrance to the property could have been better presented. The hallway was covered in gravel from the drive.

The room was comfortable. Although it is not in the center of Bled, there is an information center, shopping market and a few restaurants nearby.

Very nice modern room, with own private bathroom and fridge and kettle.

Was further from the lake than I thought when I booked. But still it was a nice walk once you got used to it
