Tsumesyo Mikuni

一軒家を借りての別荘的な感じと、歴史ある美術品が展示されていて、とても心地良い空間と非日常を味わえる事のできる。お宿でした。 周りのお店も、博物館もあり、ノスタルジーに浸りたい人にはお勧めです。港町なので魚介類が新鮮で果物や、 野菜、食べ物全般に美味しい物や身体に良いが食べられるのと手にいれられます。自炊の出来る点も良いお宿かと考えます。今回は自炊はしませんでしたが、次回は是非試したいと思います。食器類もとても充実していました。オーナーが、盆栽店をされていたので、そちらでチェックイン出来たのも面白く感じました。

アメニティ含む宿の設備が大変良かった

一点だけ、コーヒーミルが電動なら素晴らしかった

It was a spacious and cosy guest house that was both comfortable and well-equipped. The gas heater and air conditioning kept the entire space warm and pleasant throughout my stay. The kitchen was very clean and stocked with plenty of utensils, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals. I was especially impressed by the high-end washing machine — it made laundry super convenient.

One problem I encountered was getting locked out by the password-protected front door. Even though I entered the correct passcode early in the morning, the door wouldn’t open — and unfortunately, the host was not reachable at the time. Thankfully, a cleaner who happened to be there was able to let us in with a physical key. The password lock seemed to be unreliable and I would personally prefer a regular key.

There were detailed instructions on how to find the property but checking in was stressful as we couldn’t find the shop (our fault given the detailed instructions, but still stressful). Didn’t enjoy the checking in process but the property is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a stay. The owner was very helpful and responsive at messaging too. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

Clean overall

Check in procedure. It was rainy and dark in the evening and we were not sure if we were at the right accommodation. Then we waited anxiously not knowing if we were at the right place. We texted the property but we had to wait in the car for a reply. Fortunately, he eventually came to our rescue!

Located in the centre of Mikuni, a lovely seaside village in Fukui with a historic quarter. Mikuni Tsumesyo is located on the main street running along the axis, so it is conveniently located to everything you need. The house is truly amazing,, the photos do not do enough justice; gardens interior and design are all impeccable. I really enjoyed staying here but I wish could luve out of the house for an entire month.

Nothing, everything was well thought out and well organized.

The property had a very unique and antique feel to it. It was extremely fun to enjoy the ambiance and chat with family. It was very clean and the owner did a lot to ensure that the house was clean before and after we stayed there.

There isn’t a ton to do in the area so I think a one day stay was perfect for everything we wanted to do.
