Pööni Guesthouse

Room and public areas were tastefully decorated, period feel while being modern and uncluttered. Beds were long as stated. All areas were very clean and fresh. Host accommodated our need for an earlier weekend breakfast as we had to leave early for work.

My fall over the floor beam within seconds of me saying I'd have to be careful not to - obviously I am a forgetful clutz. The beds had been placed in such a way that you had to step over the beam to get in and out of them. Could do with more cups in the hall facilities, there were none left by the time we checked in (admittedly it was late in the evening). Nothing that would stop us staying again, beautiful place.

Friendly staff and cozy place. Breakfast was good. Guesthouse is located near Latvia border, which was very comfortable on our trip.

Water in shower could be warmer, but we arrived quite late, so maybe there were not much left of hot water.e
