Excellent location! And great communication from the hosts. My room was very clean. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

There isn’t much sound insulation from the street, so sensitive sleepers may struggle. It may also depend on when you stay - Saturday night was quite loud but Sunday night wasn’t.

Siena is a beautiful city to explore on foot and the Attilio Camere is a perfect base. The room is one of 4 on the second floor of a lovely historic building. It is good sized with an armoire and writing table in a little nook. The bed was comfortable. There is a shared fridge where you can store some food and an espresso machine down a short hallway. It is a quiet and warm place to stay. It is close enough to everything but enough off the beaten track to not feel "touristy." We felt perfectly safe coming and going at any hour. Contributing to that are the delightful hosts, Claudio and his mother, Debra. They were helpful, offered great advice, and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. They were also fun to interact with. We had an early train to catch and Claudio scheduled the taxi to the station and waited with us to make sure we were on our way.

Great location . Hosts were very helpful and the place was very clean. Good communal kitchen.

It is situated near a night time bar so if you aren’t out partying yourself and want to sleep before midnight take some ear plugs.
