Il punto di forza di questa struttura è l'eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo. Essa infatti è pulitissima, materassi e cuscini comodi, posizione centralissima con possibilità di parcheggio poco distante: si trova infatti appena al di fuori delle mura della città vecchia. C'è anche la possibilità di usare una cucina. Infine, ma non ultimo, la simpatia e la cordialità di Alfredo.

A me è piaciuto tutto, ma occorre precisare che i bagni sono in comune in proporzione di due bagni ogni tre stanze. Ad ogni modo durante la prenotazione è chiaramente indicato.

Abbiamo alloggiato a Casa Di Alfredo per una notte e non abbiamo nulla da ridire. Siamo arrivati e la signora alla reception è stata gentilissima, pratica e cordiale. La stanza era ampia, pulita e in ordine. Nonostante i 35 gradi fuori, la stanza era fresca. Abbiamo anche apprezzato molto le decorazioni in stile barocco del soffitto della nostra camera. Il bagno anche pulito e ordinato. C’era anche la disponibilità di utilizzare un giardinetto in cortile con tavoli e sedie ma purtroppo non abbiamo avuto tempo. La cucina anche molto pratica e super fornita. Lo staff al momento del check out si è riconfermato gentile e disponibile. La posizione è perfetta visto che la casa si trova all’inizio del centro storico. Consigliamo vivamente!

The room was spacious with a view of a garden. Location was good too, because it was walking distance from the station, and just opposite Porta Camollia, one of the gates to the walled city of Siena.

We stayed three nights at this property. On the second morning, I was taking a shower (it was a shared facility, and all other guests had already gone out), when a woman started banging on the door and yelling at me. I kept saying I don't speak Italian (non parlo italiano) and she kept yelling. Finally i came out and the woman kept yelling, Turns out it was the cleaning lady. I guess she wanted to finish her duty before leaving, but this is just not on. Guests need to use the toilet/ shower when they wish. But this is nothing. After three nights of stay at this location, we checked out at 10 am as scheduled. it was pouring. We handed our keys to the staff and then stepped out, but at just before exiting, we saw that rain was pelting down, so we stayed in the lobby with our luggage. Please note there were no chairs, so we just stood there near the door with our luggage watching the rain. We were there till approx 10.30 when the cleaning lady came out into the lobby and she started screaming again that we had no right to be here after checking out. (Cannot understand Italian, but the meaning was clear). We pointed to the rain, and she got the gentleman who was also cleaning to come. He spoke a bit of English, not much, but he also just said ,'Not our problem if you don't have umbrellas, get out'. We did have umbrellas, but it was raining so hard that umbrellas would have been no use. But the two staff members were so rude and abusive that we stepped out. This is no way to treat anyone anywhere in the world, leave alone guests who have stayed in your property for three nights.
