A little haven of peace just a stone's throw from tourist attractions, nestled in a small hamlet in the Japanese Alps. We received an incredibly warm welcome from our hosts in their beautiful home. The perfect place for a break off the beaten path. Everything was clean and bright. Having arrived by bus, our hosts picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop. A truly rejuvenating place, where we also recommend enjoying a meal and a glass of sake. Everything was delicious, featuring produce from the garden and game hunted by the hosts themselves. The only thing : we would have like to stay a little bit more !

We had a great experience staying in this home! The family are so kind and welcoming and we received a tour of the house from the hosts adorable young boy. The family also recommended various activities in the local area. The house is beautiful with very comfortable and clean rooms. The location is remote and serene within the world-heritage listed Gokayama region. It is a short drive from two stunning mountain villages, well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend this listing and are disappointed we didn't stay longer as one night wasn't quite enough!

Maison familiale vraiment typique dans un tout petit village montagnard. Accueil très sympathique. Kota san est même venu nous chercher à l'arrêt de bus (heureusement car ça montait). Très tranquille. Jolie chambre avec futons. Le coin est très isolé

We spend a wonderful night at Takazuri-Kita. The guests are adorable and their little boy even more cute. Through this night we had the opportunity to experience the countryside day to day life and it was fully charming. We are really grateful for this small stay Thank you very much
