Mattress could have been better

The room and location were very nice. The host, Davor,, was exceptional. If you have a car, you will probably have to park 5 minutes away. This is true of any room in the old town.

We loved everything about our stay at Luxury Room Kokola. It is in the middle of everything but still very quiet. Davor was also a great host! He gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home. Having such a great place to stay just added to our love for Split. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!

This is one room suite in a 200–plus year-old family owned building one block off the Central square. The room is beautiful, absolutely spotless, and remarkably quiet. Davor, the owner, was helpful in making recommendations for our stay, helping us with our luggage, and providing homey touches like fresh cookies, a bottle of wine, and a little farewell gift. He was a very warm and generous host.

My husband said it was his favorite accommodation and we have stayed all over the world. No complaints.

We had an incredible stay at Luxury Room Kokola, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of our host, Davor. While the room doesn’t offer views, the service more than makes up for it—Davor went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. His local recommendations were spot-on, including great restaurants that accommodated gluten-free needs, which made a huge difference for us. The room itself was spotless, stylish, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for genuine care and top-notch service, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Located right in the heart of the Old City. Davor, our host, gave us ample instructions on where to park and even met us at the parking lot and walked us to our lodging. He left wine and chocolates and fruit and coffee and tea for our use, and had ample tips for where to go and what to do in the city. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing! We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in Split.

A little noise due to proximity to bars, but that is to be expected. Maybe a few more places to hang towels to dry and a shampoo dispenser and a box of Kleenex in the room? Really, these are tiny changes; the room was excellent.
