CHWe liked that we could experience sleeping on tatami mats. The host was very nice and answered all our questions swiftly.
The inner window doesn’t close entirely, therefore the room gets colder than it normally would and it is noisier from the trains than it could be.

It's to far from Shopping center, and small are to far , walk it's okay but not for winter season 😭

CHThe tatami room was comfortable, the train station is in close reach and by car you can explore more easily than from Sapporo.
The parking lot is a few minutes walk towards the center but one can temporarily stop in front of the house. The trains are rolling by frequently and audibly until relatively late in the evening. With closed windows it is ok to sleep though.
AUGBKoukaso is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is scrupulously clean and the host polite and accommodating. He answered all my questions and even took a delivery of one of our bikes that got lost on its way from NZ. There was a kitchen so I was able to cook my own breakfast and a lovely garden to sit out in. I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers, couples, or family groups.
SGAdequate with all essentials, except need to bring our own bath towels and tooth brush/paste, which is reasonable. Like it that the property has coffee/ tea and all kitchen appliances required. Very clean and hygienic.
Property is near the rail station and can be a little noisy for light sleepers. Our group is fine as we wanted to experience staying near the rail station and being waken up by the 1st train in operation to get the day started. Some members of the group who are deep sleepers were not affected by it at all and slept well.
