Rooms and Apartment Stambuk

The room is in a ideal position to explore the city, and very convenient if you need to take a ferry to the islands. It is small but clean and equipped with all the amenities necessary. The host, Iris, was very helpful and nice. Definitely recommended.

The host Iris is very kind and responsive. She made sure to wait for us when our flight was delayed. The bed is very comfortable and the room spacious. Iris left many towels for us and let us make a later check out.

It was very noisy at night, because there are many other apartments rented around. There were mostly young people coming back home at any time during the night. That´s anyway not on the host. The payment is in cash, but the ATM is very close.

Room is in Tolstoyeva street. Room is small, clean and tidy, with air conditioner. It is possible to dry wet clothes through the window (2 ropes outside). There was TV, kettle, cups, dishes for 2. Many towels. No washing machine but for us it was not an issue. Room can be reached by taking the stairs (4th floor). Wifi signal could be stronger but it was ok. We enjoyed our stay there. Small shop is nearby, the whole city center, local market can be reached easily by walking. Iris is a very nice and kind host.

A very good value for money room, no frills but everything you need. Up 4 flights of stairs (just to be aware) I booked the ‘deluxe double room’ which is basically a flat divided into 4 rooms. This is fine, I didn’t hear anything from my neighbours. Good location next to a small supermarket and 10 mins to the old town.

The owner is very kind and hospitable. The location of the apartment is fantastic. Very clean and well equipped. Probably the best price in Split for a room with bathroom.

There is no soundproofing, you can hear people talking behind the wall. Luckily, we agreed with neighbors quickly to respect quite hours. The bathroom sink is so tiny that it is impossible to wash your hands or brush your teeth without splashing water on your feet.

When we came we got literally what was shown on the pictures. Room was perfectly clean. Stambuk apartments are situated in a perfect location. You may walk only 5minutes to get to the port, buy a boat ticket and explore nearby wonderfull islands. Its close to beach and city center also, about 10minutes of walk. If you get hungry over night or anytime you can choose to shop at 2 different malls, eat at lovely kebab place or just snack some cakes from a bakery. Everything is 1minute of slow walk from your apartments so is the bus stop. If i ever come to split again i would definetly visit this lovely place.

We could not find any trash bins around. Maybe we just did not try hard enough. Sometimes in the night someone elses air condicioning is quite noisy so we had to close the window during night. Maybe it was something different, with windows closed it was allright.
