Catlins Retreat B & B

Owaka is a great location to explore the Catlins, loved it

The owner, Jill, was very welcoming and helpful; she had a lot of recommendations for us that really helped make our stay more rewarding. The house has a lot of history and a lot of character. The location within town is excellent, and Owaka itself is well located for exploring the Catlin Coast, which is a splendid place to visit and is too often overlooked.

Jill was wonderful and very helpful. She recommended places to visit and eat. Catlins is lovely area of NZ and there are lots of place to see; it's a beautiful part of the country. Owaka is a very small town but we found it a perfect base.

What’s not to like,out of this world

We stayed here as a family with two kids and had a wonderful experience. The place was very comfortable and thoughtfully set up for families, with small touches our kids loved, like coloring books. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference. We had a great time and would highly recommend this B&B. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever back in Owaka.
