Catlins Retreat B & B

This was such a gem - perfect location in the middle of the Catlins - Jill is an exceptional host and had so many great suggestions on where to go and where to eat that it really added to our stay - we loved the comfy warm room and all the inclusions - slippers, umbrellas and lots of warm blankets - not that we needed them . The breakfast was beautifully presented in crystal and china of long ago

We should have stayed longer :)

The breakfast was supplied in the room as continental and it was excellent and could not be faulted

The colour scheme of purple and pink for just about everything on the room was diabolical and off putting

Highly Recommend- Great location for exploring the Catlins - wonderful hosts - provided recommendations on local restaurants & what to see & do - supplied with mini chocolates everyday - stayed in the quirky purple room -

Room was a little overdone and cluttered with the purple decor

Love the purple room. It is very beautiful and has complete amenities. Has made our stay very worthwhile. Jill has also been very helpful in providing tips for our Catlins trip.

Nothing much except probably the shower head could be a bit bigger so more water comes out.
