Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!

Casa molto bella e ben tenuta, pulita e confortevole in un contesto fiabesco.

Si potrebbe lasciare in cucina almeno l'indispensabile per un caffè al mattino anche perché il prezzo pagato non è indifferente.

Tolles altes Schulgebäuse, welches liebevoll und gemütlich hergerichtet wurde. Sehr nette Vermieter! Ruhige Lage. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Man durfte Kajaks/SUP/Ruderboote benutzen, was unseren Kindern sehr gefallen hat. Würden eir sofort nochmal buchen!
