Hidden Grace

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse with stunning gardens and friendly staff. All necessary facilities. Electric blankets, fridge, microwave. Beautifully antique furnished units. Very secure (parking and units).

My only complaint is that we had a pool facing room (overlooking the general area) and the curtains were completely see through at night (we did not realize until later).

Load shedding was very inconvenient, and not a fault of the lodge, but next time I'd look for a place that has solar. The shower wasn't great, no water pressure and the shower head terrible, with jets spraying in different directions, making it difficult to wash properly. Only one towel is also an issue for people who like to shower before bed and in the morning.

ROOM: No carpets during winter time. Tv did not feature all channels. Bathroom open. No privacy. The room we booked had a private bathroom. Not one that separates the bedroom from the bathroom. Parking to far from room.

Beautiful gardens and front of the house.

Our room was in a back corner with the sliding door right across from a other bedroom door with no view at all. Just a wall and the other bedroom. All the plugs for the fridge TV and decoder were not working. The person that booked us in just took us to the room and the swiftly disappeared. We could not get hold of anybody to sort the problem out

Electricity cords loose Carpet smelt like smoke. No blanket- I had to ask for one. Aircon but no remote -I had to ask for one Curtains no lining so light outside shining bright into my room. Small Bath towel. Head boards of Beds loose. Only 1 bedlight. Rooms main light can't be switched on. I won't go back that's for sure.. Regards....
