"Stupendous Accommodation"

Accommodation was of the highest standard. Garden was stunning. Brekkie was scummy. Olivia is a warm and lovely host. Julian is very kind and so are their family. Loved the chickens and cat.

"A weekend well-spent"

It was exactly what I needed for the weekend. I needed to escape life and just chill out. The place is fantastic, especially the outdoor spaces. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast delicious! No faults from my end.

"An unexpected gem on the edge of Patea"

An unexpected gem on the edge of Patea, this is a quiet and secluded self-contained unit (separate to the owner's house) set in their impressive gardens. It has everything you would want for a comfortable stay and is fitted and furnished to a very high standard of design and quality. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the provided continental breakfast is also great.

While the accommodation itself and immediate surroundings are fantastic, Patea itself is a small town which doesn't have a huge amount to offer so you will need to plan to self-cater or head further afield if you want to eat out. Most attractions in South Taranaki are also a reasonable drive away so don't expect lots to do right on your doorstep. Having said that we could quite happily have not left the property for the whole of our stay since it was so comfortable.
