Kiran River View Guest House

The room had all the necessary commodities, was clean, and had a ceiling fan. The owners of the place were very kind! They allowed me to leave my bags after checkout.

Nothing! The place had no mosquitoes (and just in case it was equipped with a net to put over the bed, which wasn't necessary in the end!)

A nice home stay close to the temple in Hampi. The owner and is wife was very nice and helpful. They arrange tuk tuk to and from Hospet were the bus stops.

The bed was probably the hardest and most uncomfortable I’ve been in. Also ants in the bed at night time and cockroaches in the toilet in the morning. I guess they crawl up when the night falls

Excellent location. The owners were extremely friendly and caring.

The rooms were hot even at night. The owners kept switching off the energy of the room with the outside switch when you were not in the room, you could not charge stuff when you were outside, which is relevant considering there was only one socket in the room.

Great location for visiting Hampi and the owners are very friendly. They also picked us up from the train station and dropped us off for a very reasonable price considering it is 30/40 minutes to Hospet Station. Great value for money and the owners helped organise day drips for us as well as a laundry service.

A few reviews on here have mentioned the electricity situation. Whilst it is true you are asked to turn off the electricity when you leave the room this really isn’t an issue considering how cheap the stay is and considering it is a home stay/guesthouse and not a hotel. Also, the negative reviews regarding the children are harsh. Yes, they have young children but again you’re staying at a guesthouse - it is their house so accept they have kids. We had a small issue with ants but the owner came and used this chalk stuff which cleared them up instantly. Only improvement would be to put some curtains on the windows to block out light in the morning. thank you for our stay!!

Arrogant owner, I requested for early check in and check out to the owner and he said ok,but when I reached there ,he told me to come after two hours . So i had to book another hotel with extra amount .
