Sobe Tivat

Our host, Ana, is just the most brilliant woman ever! She was super responsive on WhatsApp and helped us through our transport challenges between Tivat and Kotor. The room was immaculately clean, same for the bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable. We only spent one night here, but we loved its conveniency and how close it was to the downtown.

We did not really liked that we had to share the bathroom with other guests. There was only one bathroom in the house, and everyone used that.

Lämminhenkinen ja hyvin kotoisa palvelu. Perhe oli ihana. Tunsimme olomme hyvin tervetulleiksi. Huone oli siisti. Yhteinen kylpyhuone oli siisti. Aamupala ei kuulunut hintaan, mutta aamulla talon isoäiti olisi lähtökahvit halunnut vielä tarjota,mutta meillä oli kiire jo lentokentälle.

Sängyt olivat aavistuksen kovat meidän makuun, mutta tuli niissä kuitenkin uni ihan hyvin.

Les hôtes étaient assez sympas et le logement est à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville.

L'emplacement est difficile à trouver, il faut demander de l'aide en arrivant sur place. La kitchenette se trouve à l'extérieur avec très peu d'ustensiles pour cuisiner et on partage le frigo avec les propriétaires. Le logement est au même étage que les propriétaires, nous partageons tout avec eux, sauf la chambre. L'isolation est très mauvaise donc on entend tout ce qu'il se passe dans l'étage. La salle de bain semble assez ancienne et en mauvais état (surtout la baignoire/douche).

Friendly hosts! Most of them did not speak English but that posed no problems because Google Translate exists and they know how to use it. The main host speaks good English and we had lovely chats with her at the table outside the entrance door. The hosts also live in this house, so the place really feels like a home and not just like a "place to stay on vacation". Maximum coziness. It also means the place is clean, has everything you need, and you also get a nice glimpse into how the locals actually live there. The older lady living there offered us pieces of watermelon which were delicious. The host's husband built his own outdoor shower in the backyard, which he showed us with the greatest of enthusiasm. I used it and it was very nice to rinse off at after a long and sweaty day. A normal indoor shower with privacy and necessary amenities is also present. The neighborhood just has a great vibe. And downtown Tivat, the beaches, and bus stations are only a short walk away. A small grocery shop exists down the street, with a supermarket further down but on the way to aforementioned locations. The room has AC. Thatş more luxury than I have at home! Needless luxuries like a TV are not included, meaning you're not paying for stuff you don't need. A fridge in the hallway can be used to store a few food items.

We had a little bit of trouble finding the place with our car. It is in a side branch of the street which is tucked tightly in between two houses and is really easy to miss or easy to mistake for like a private access road or something. This specific branch is also not on Google Streetview, though it is on the map so I could've known we had to take a turn there rather than continue barreling down the main street. Nonetheless, we were using the booking.com chat to communicate and when I explained where we were they walked out to come get us!

Le séjour chez nos hôtes était très bien. Toute la famille a été très agréable même avec la barrière de la langue. Il n’y avait rien à redire sur la chambre.

Хозяйка нас встретила глубоким вечером, все показала и мы почувствовали себя как дома! А утром она приготовила нам кофе💔

1) location 2) host 3) generally fits my requirements - we wanted to participate in the marathon race and the race was wonderful!

1) It was rather cold at the apartment, we had to use air conditioning 2) Very small boiler capacity - we experienced a lack of hot water 3) Kitchen - there was almost no kitchen: we were allowed to cook at the open terrace without hot water, plates, pans, spoons - only plenty of cups. I should have comunicated to the hosts beforehand.

Ana (host) was welcoming and polite. Communication was excellent - she answered right away. She helped me where to park the car. Bed was comfy. There is air conditioner in the room. Bathroom is shared. Location is great - 5 min walk from center. Excellent value for money.
