Actually, the hotel was full but they directly offered to stay at St Dona Maria a short walk away. Hotel that was a real upgrade as it had a pool and a nice restaurant in a spatio.

A small comment: they could have been more helpful by advising how to get a taxi for 1 hour walking way to the bus station. Instead of proposing a taxi or a hint, they found my volume of backpacker luggage funny and said bye.

This is a Wonderful Guesthouse, Paul ( the Owner) is just a Fantastic man, He has wonderful Happy Staff, His wife makes great omelettes, Very Clean, Everything thing you need, Nice 15 walk to a wonderful quiet beach with a couple of nice beach bar/ restaurants, also very near to some restaurants/ bar and a few shops, Overall we Love this place ❤️ Big Thank you from Gill & Tony ( ELVIS) Skingle

Very nice stay, Thank you paul sir, cleanliness is the main attraction and the owner is down to earth person. Always welcoming with a smiling face. Will come again.

Owner new the time of our arrival and was waiting at the gate with a warm smile to greet us. The room was incredibly clean with air conditioning fridge and kettle and the softest bed in India. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels toilet paper etc whenever asked for. Water was provided outside to save walking sand through the building and the whole effect was one of feeling at home. Breakfast I the room was provided by the owner himself if required but we are light eaters in the morning and a cup of tea was all we needed. Location was perfect for us but it is a 15 minute stroll to the beach if you don't have transport and there are no tuk tuks in the village. 4 or 5 places to eat if you don't want to venture far in the evening but Paul will gladly organise a taxi to Cavalossim if you want. The perfect stay for us and next we will stay longer. Thank you Paul and all your staff.

The only way it could have been better is it Paul had said " you can stay another week" .

It was a large room with large bathroom and very clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and even dropped me near my next destination when I left.

The location was a bit quiet for me and I could probably have done with a bike, but that is by no way an issue with the property.

The guest house is in a quiet street and the staff was friendly. The optional breakfast is a great deal.

There are a lot of stray dogs in the entire neighbourhood so I tried to avoid going out after dark.

The place was clean. Very calm and refreshing for a comfortable stay. Mr Paul Lobo is a gem of a person and staff is also good and polite. Very pleasant to see peacocks roaming around the property.
