Bukit Indah Homestay

It’s quietly tucked away a bit further from the busy main section of Amed. The orientation of the individual, layered rooms facing the sea gives spectacular views.

Nothing, it’s a great basic accommodation with somewhat older facilities but clean rooms.

Velmi milý personál, který nám se vším ochotně pomohl. Dobrá snídaně. Dobrá lokalita. Krásný výhled na moře a lehátka na balkoně.

Klimatizace pouze za příplatek o čemž v rezervaci hostitel nic neuvádí. V nejvrchnějším apartmánu, bylo nesnesitelné horko a bylo možné využívat pouze ventilátor, který vůbec nestačil. Závěsy od moskytiéry byly špinavé, stejně jako povlečení. Koupelna příšerná, do které nám lezli pavouci a ještěrky.

Colazione buona. Disponibilità dei gestori tutto ok. Vista meravigliosa dalla stanza. Unica nota negativa: il materasso e cuscini molto duri. Il riposo non è stato per nulla buono.

The location was exceptional, magnificent views over the sea to the east. A lovely courtyard at the top apartment set into the hill.

It is set into the side of a steep hill (Bukit means hill). So there are a lot of steps to climb if you have the top apartment. Also, some of the steps are quite high, 40cm or more. So if you're not reasonably fit or have dodgy knees you might want to reconsider.

The views from the room where beautiful. The owner, Ketut, is super nice. She practiced Indonesian language with me, I felt super at home in my trip. Only thing, some rooms have no A/C but just a fan. It's okay as it's indicated in the description. The room has a cover for mosquitoes and worked perfectly so I slept with the door open and didn't get any bite. Just because these days were super hot, but usually Amed is not that hot in the night. Said this, I would come back :)

Breakfast maybe.... but because I like clean food, but she cooks nice and for the price it is more than enough. Anything else, again, perfect!
