Burcott Mill Guesthouse

The location is excellent: very peaceful and rural but within easy distance of Wells and main roads to other nearby places. It was a real pleasure to have use of the garden and we were also able to look round the ancient flour mill on site. Our room was in fact 2 bedrooms and was very comfortable with everything we needed and plenty of space. The breakfasts are wonderful: excellent quality food and plenty of it. The hosts, Louise and Steve are very friendly and efficient - many thanks to them for a great stay.

Great location overlooking the garden

Had a shower,but the bath was enormous ,too large to get in & out easily.

The house is beautiful and easy to find. Our room was equally as beautiful and very clean. Louise the owner was friendly and couldn't do enough. We felt at home and were made to feel welcome. As this is a working Mill, you can also purchase their flour and baked loaves with are delicious. Steve the owner did the breakfast cooking which was lovely. We could recommend this b&b enough and would very much like to visit again.

There was nothing to dislike here!

The bedroom was cosy & comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The variety & choice at breakfast was first-class especially the homemade plum compote and spelt bread, made from flour milled on site! A unique stay at such an historical location with lovely hosts, Louise & Steve.

For us everything about our stay was great & would recommend wholeheartedly.

Very clean and spacious in a lovely location

Quiet village location, easy to find, spacious car park, good local pubs (we ate out at two within easy walking distance), breakfast room looking out to garden, home made bread and jams, good night’s sleep in comfortable bed
