Fast internet. Friendly host.

For context, we have been hiking the GR7 and staying in various villages in the amazing Alpujarras region. This was our third accommodation. Honestly, it was disappointing after our previous experiences, which were both excellent. The price was the same but the room was not good value for money. Why? 1. The biggest problem was there was no fan or air conditioning. We haven’t yet adjusted to the temperatures here in August, so it was a very uncomfortable night. 2. The beds were just plain uncomfortable. Cheap mattresses with old pieces of upholstery foam thrown on top (which didn’t fit and so dangled over the edges). 3. Stinky towels! Honestly, they smelled like old socks. One was clean, so the three of us used the one towel. So, all in all, not a great place UNLESS they either half the price or invest in some upgrades. At the moment it feels like an overpriced spare room.
