The Lucky Canggu

I’ve been staying at The Lucky Canggu since 2024 and honestly, it feels like home every time. Right in the heart of Canggu, everything you need is just steps away or bike. The family here is amazing — kind, respectful, always looking out for you. The rooms are big, the showers are hot, the kitchen is huge & spotless, the pool is perfect for a swim or just chilling. It’s rare to find a place that gives you both comfort & good vibes like this. Highly recommend 😆

The location is perfect! The room was very spacious, clean and smelling really good. The staff is lovely, super kind people! We booked here for 2 nights and extended for 10 more nights, as much we loved. It’s even better than in the pictures! We can’t wait to come back :) S2

Lekker bed, ruime goeie douche. Zwembad was prima.

Vriendelijke mensen ( familie). En een goed rustig plekje in een drukke stad. Lekker om na een hete dag even af te koelen en tot rust te komen in het zwembad.

Wonderful people. They helped us with our luggages and they allowed us to use the pool until we could check in in our next place. Highly recommend. We will be back!

I stayed at The Lucky Canggu Homestay and was really happy with my experience. The location is excellent – the beach is within walking distance, and also easy to reach by bike. Markets and restaurants are just a short walk away, so for Canggu I’d say it’s perfect. Before this stay, I had spent some time at a 5-star hotel, and honestly, I found the cleanliness of the sheets and the condition of the towels here even better. If you’d like your room cleaned, you just need to hang the card on the window, which is very convenient. What stood out to me most was the helpfulness of the staff and the great value for money. For the price I paid, the service I received was excellent. A hairdryer was available in the room, and when I asked for an extra mirror, they brought one right away. They even gave me a spray for mosquitoes – a nice little bonus :) I didn’t use the kitchen myself, but it’s good to know that cooking and storing food in the fridge is possible if needed.

One small point for improvement: the hot water tends to run out a bit quickly, so you’ll probably end up with a refreshing cold shower at the end – which, after the Bali heat, can actually feel quite nice 😅.

The bed is clean and comfortable
