"Perfect short stay in a lovely comfy 16th century cottage"

Jewel of a cottage, Bluebell cottage, dating from the 16th century with everything you could possibly need for a short stay including a kitchen, tv area and power shower- there’s lots of snacks and continental breakfast provided, toiletries and even a torch and an umbrella. The owners are super friendly and hospitable and really go the extra mile. There’s a great pub with excellent food walking distance from the cottage.

EVERYTHING was amazing. Me and my wife came here to celebrate our 7 year anniversary, a place to escape the city and it absolutely delivered! From being warmly welcomed by our lovely host who had a bottle of prosecco ready for us, all the way to the beautiful cottage we stayed in surrounded by the serene views. Cant fault a single thing, we will most definitely be back as our monthly getaway! Thank you again!

The two cottages are both great - very cute with lots of space. It was a 25 minute drive to Stansted in the morning so the location was good. The garden is beautiful (although we didn’t have chance to make use of it). Special mention to the breakfast and snacks that were provided, which were spectacular. We would love to come back and stay for a full weekend.

There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this place, from meeting John & Joan on arrival, to leaving next day, the whole experience was 1st class. There's nothing that they haven't thought about to make your stay the best possible. It's an absolute credit to them for how they run things, I'll definitely stay again the next time I'm down that way 👌👏
