The views, its location and cleanliness and the breakfasts. The hosts were first rate and very welcoming. The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable.

We received a very warm welcome from Roeleen and Steve, who were very knowledgeable about what to do during our stay. Very helpful with restaurant bookings, taxis etc. Beautiful room with stunning seaview, good breakfast.

Westhill Luxury Guesthouse provided us the perfect base to explore the area aorund Knysna. We enjoyed our stay enormously due in large part to the friendliness and generosity of hosts Steve and Roeleen. Both are a fantastic source of information on the area and helped us greatly with our planning for day trips and restaurant recommendations.

What not to like, incredible views of the lagoon and heads, spacious bright and modern rooms and swimming pool with bar serving the best south african wines and beers (belgian too) but the best selling point are the hosts Roeleen and Steve - really wonderful people

That we got sick on the first night (thanks to restaurant with the red tabels on Thesen 🤢)and couldn’t enjoy all facilities only the room and the care of Roeleen who even drove me to the hospital and looked after us - Big thank you!

Absolutely enormous bedroom and bathroom, even with a bath! Perfectly spotless with every comfort provided. Steve and Roleen were so very hospitable…..nothing was too much trouble, not even the cooking time for Rob’s boiled egg! We would have loved more time here, and would certainly recommend to friends. Good Job Westhill!

This guest house has been built by travellers, for travellers. Rooms are spacious, beautiful and full of little details like electrical sockets for many different types international plug and refrigerators outside of the room to avoid unwanted noise while you sleep. The views of the harbour are great and the bar at the side of the pool is a nice touch - but all of this pales in comparison to the warmth of our hosts during our stay. Never before have I felt guest house owners so invested in the success of our trip. From the very first welcome drinks they'll move heaven and earth to share their wealth of local knowledge and experience to help you plan your trip. Once plans are made they will do there damndest to help organise it for you. Above all they're warm, wholesome people who you can't help but want to spend time with.

Hand in heart, I cannot find fault with our stay.
