Keedols Inn & Backpackers

Very clean and central place. The hostess was very kind as well. She took me on a hike to see the beautiful city from the top of a national park.

Perfect and central location in a quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable, clean and tidy room and bathroom, and a charming patio area. A most welcoming warm hearted host, always ready to help. Excellent value for money.

Staying with keedols Was one of my best experiences on booking by far. She is a very dedicated host and wants to make sure that you feel comfortable during your stay. she actually took me on a drive to a nice island in nature and we also went to the elephant Park together and had amazing memories. She is very kind and welcoming. The place itself is centrally located. The beds are comfortable, The Wi-Fi is solid, and the room is kept clean the whole time. I would definitely stay here over and over again.

Place needs some reconstruction, rats roaming the place.. Outdated Bathroom and bedroom unclean, broken.

The Backpackers is very close to the waterfront and not far from Thesen Island. From the beginning, the manager was very nice and always tried to make me feel comfortable. There is a nice outside sitting area, but unfortunately there weren’t any other backpackers staying at the hostel the night I was there…

I was staying in the dorm room which unfortunately only has one door and no other windows. So there was no natural air circulation which made it very hot and stuffy. (The manager put up a fan which was nice, but after that night I had a sore throat :/). The bathroom/toilet only has a light wooden “door”, which was not more than a little bit of a sight protection (you can see it at one of the pictures) As a woman staying with 4 older men in the dorm that was not the most pleasant stay ;) I know that some of these circumstances are due to “outside” influences and for 250 ZAR I cannot expect a luxurious accommodation - I just want to add a little bit of information for future travelers…
