Alma Camere Affittacamere

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico. La struttura è situata a pochi minuti dal centro e grazie al parcheggio interno (super comodo) é stato facile passeggiare per la città. La signora Anna Rita è super gentile e disponibile, ci ha mostrato cosa vedere in città e ci ha dato la possibilità di fare il check in prima di quanto avevamo previsto. La camera per 4 persone é caratteristica ed é tutta in pietra, ci é piaciuta molto. La pulizia é perfetta e la colazione viene preparata con cura e dedizione dalla signora Anna Rita. Che dire… siamo stati benissimo e ci torneremo volentieri. Grazie ❤️

De vriendelijke host en het zeer uitgebreide ontbijt. Ook de parkeerplaats bij het appartement en dat de auto na het uitchecken nog kon blijven staan.

Niet tegen maar als je iets moet noemen dan zou t fijn geweest zijn als de verlichting iets meer soft/sfeerverlichting was geweest.

Exceptionnel très bien placé proche du centre parking privé. Les hôtes très aimable et nous proposent les visites les restaurants. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Je recommande très fortement ce logement

I was really expecting good Italian hospitality, being of Southern Italian heritage, but unfortunately, the level of service left a lot to be desired. The room was comfortable with good amenities (although the bed was the hardest of any hotel I've ever stayed at), but the real issue was the breakfast provided and the level of service compared to other guests. We were told we would receive a typical Italian breakfast, but the reality was quite disappointing. On the first day, there was a container with some biscuits, a hard and dry "brioche" that tasted like it had come out of the freezer, a couple of cold boiled eggs, old grapes and two apples. There was basic white bread and when I asked for toast, I got a ham and cheese sandwich? The tea also looked like dirty dishwater. As the days progressed, they introduced a bit of focaccia (ok quality). We had to ask for sandwiches with the good quality Matera bread we saw on the other tables as it wasn't provided to us. I noticed a couple of items on the tables of other guests that weren't on ours but didn't think much of it as I thought maybe they were paying more for the breakfast, but when I questioned it with our tour guide as accommodation and breakfast was included as part of the package, she assured me that it was the same for everyone. I accepted this as that was the case with other places I'd been to. It wasn't until the fourth day that I looked over and the difference between the quantity and quality of what we had been given compared to the Northern Italian guests across from us was like night and day - basic supermarket items compared to a bakery quality spread. We asked for some sweets to have with our coffee and the lady said she was told we didn't eat sweets. I was dumbfounded and told her that was incorrect. Shen then simply gave me some biscuits. I couldn't understand why there was such a stark difference between the quality and quantity of what we had received compared to the other customers. The cornetti on the guests' tables were in abundance. When we questioned it, we received ridiculous excuses from the owners like "there wasn't enough space on our table," and worse, it was suggested that the employee didn't properly understand the language (which was unfair, as she only provided what she had been instructed to and the owner was in the breakfast room on most days). No responsibility was taken for their lack of professionalism, and they must have thought we were born in the last shower to believe the lies they told us. There was no good reason why we had been treated like second rate citizens. I can only guess that we were not considered important customers as we live far away in Australia and the chances of going back or having family and friends visit the area were slim, and they were only interested in impressing Italians and other European residents so they could tell their friends about how good the experience was and bring their business there. On our last day, after complaining to our tour leader, suddenly we had a big table and a better quality spread that included a couple of cornetti and better quality sandwiches and other items. It was a little too late and quite insulting. I have never had an experience like this before and was bitterly disappointed that we weren't treated with the respect we deserved. We loved Basilicata, but this "service" put a real damper on our experience.
