The location was amazing and our personal patio and view into the Sassi was more than I anticipated. It was a very special experience to be right in the center of such an incredible and well preserved historic place, while also being only a few steps from modern amenities and restaurants. The property is clearly well cared for and maintained and we will certainly recommend this apartment, and Matera, to our friends and family.

The windows are not covered, or have inadequate covering, so if you are not a morning person or want to sleep past sunrise, that would be difficult. It is minor inconvenience compared to the benefits, however, so just bring a sleep mask!

Kauniisti sisustettu huone Todella hyvällä paikalla Sassissa. Monia hyviä ravintoloita ihan kulman takana. Tulimme Materaan jo aiemmin ja saimme huoneen aiemmin kuin oli sovittu. Saimme etukäteen hyvät ohjeet pysäköintiin sekä vinkkejä drinkkibaareihin ja ravintoloihin.
