Große geräumige Zimmer mit mehreren Betten. Das Bad ist ebenfalls geräumig und sauber. Die Gegend ist ruhig, wenn im Hotel selbst keine Feierlichkeiten stattfinden

Das Gebäude selbst ist wirklich Renovierungsbedürftig, das Dach war während unseres Aufenthaltes nur mit einer Plane abgedeckt und vom Treppenhaus aus konnte man hindurch schauen. Einzelne Zimmer ließen sich von innen nicht verschließen. In der Anlage fand eine Feier statt, an der wir bis 4 Uhr morgens vom Bett aus teilnehmen konnten/mussten. Wer es mag. Das Personal war nett, verstand aber leider nur wenig englisch oder deutsch. Das Frühstück war leider auch eher mittelprächtig, sehr wenig Auswahl.

Great location if you enjoy old pompous castles with high ceilings, creaking floors and spooky surroundings. We loved the place, its history and its surroundings. The food was fine.

Only cash payments possible, including for the hotel rooms. So this is quite inconvenient. The buildings are being renovated, so there was quite some noise and dust.

Das sehr freundliche Team bemüht sich um die Gäste. Wir hatten Spaß. Dir Zimmer sind riesig und im barocken Stil eingerichtet. Das Essen ist gut, reichlich und schmeckt. Der Schloßpark ist schön. Ich wünsche dem Team, dass es bald gelingt, das auch das Hauptpalais vom Grafen Brühl wieder hergestellt werden kann.

not enough signage to indicate the way to the reception entrance - no-one in reception to greet arrivals - restaurant closed at 8pm and the food was very poor (I had a mushroom soup which was obviously from a packet) - our shower was a sit in the bath variety and hold the shower in your hand - bath was very deep and difficult to get in and out of.
