It was like staying in someone’s home! Lovely welcome and great conversation even if much of it was in Japanese and I didn’t understand it! 🤣 A great introduction to Japan and Japanese hospitality. So glad to have found it. Great Japanese breakfast

If you want to feel like home, go and stay here! Nice Japanese couple running the business, they are caring and helping. Perfect position in Nara, super close to everything. Dears are literally coming to the front garden.

ロケーション。宿泊料。銭湯に行くときのタオルとボディソープ・シャンプー無料貸し出しなどのサービス。ホストの方・中の掲示物の説明が分かりやすかった。 ロビーで他の宿泊者の方と交流ができた。奈良ホテルの敷地内を抜けて行くと奈良公園がとても近かったし、そのことを説明する掲示物が分かりやすかった。

Great place to stay, everything had been thought of. Friendly hosts and the place itself was clean and comfy. Optional extra breakfast was delicious (750 yen when I stayed).

The air conditioning in the bunk room was set to 28 degrees celcius and couldn't be changed. It was 20 degrees outside overnight when I was staying so if you can't sleep in the heat that won't be the best temperature.

La chambre est jolie de style japonaise, l’emplacement est très correct

La note booking est beaucoup trop élevée. C’est notre 5 eme ryokan/guesthouse au Japon et c’est la première fois que l’accueil est correct mais froid (peut être dû à la zone très touristique 🤷‍♂️) Consignes strictes énoncées d’entrée, etc… L’acoustique de la chambre principal est catastrophique. Et malgré des consignes de calme entre 22h et 7h, les propriétaires ont initié une symphonie d’ustensiles de cuisine à 5h40… Ça fait l’affaire mais la note booking est trompeuse ce n’est pas du tout représentatif de l’établissement et cela est même injuste pour d’autres ryokan/guesthouse qui font des efforts pour rendre votre séjour des plus agréable (explications des activités touristiques alentours, petit cadeau de bienvenue, échange avec ses invités malgré la barrière de la langue etc).

The house is perfect if you wanna experience the Japanese style living. The lady was so sweet and kind. They offer Japanese traditional breakfast and it was amazing! The location was perfect, far from the crowded streets but close enough to the main parks and turística places. I fell in love with this place!
