Sidra Hotel

Excellent accueil, très bien situé, une jolie petite terrasse pour profiter des soirées et sur laquelle on peut grignoter ce qu’on a pu acheter à emporter.

Rien, tout m’a convenu parfaitement

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the building is a truly special place. Beautiful patio to order a coffee or bring your own food. Top location, 5min walk from the port (or less). The place is very clean and looked after, despite being old.

The place is a bit dated (the pictures are not misleading though!), and maybe due to that fact everything is loud -the light in the bathroom makes a loud noise, the AC makes a very loud noise, the fridge too, and in general there was like a machine/AC type of noise throughout the night. Not a problem if you’re a very heavy sleeper -I’m not a light sleeper and it did disturb me. Still, it’s a good deal for a couple of nights.

The location and the outdoor terrace under the vines. The staff were exceptional.

De ligging is perfect dicht bij de haven, zonder trappen en toch heel rustig. Er zijn 2 prachtige terrassen met bougainville en veel schaduw en ook zon, heerlijk om rustig te zitten. Er is geen ontbijt maar dat kun je zelf maken en opeten op het terras en ze serveren wel goede koffie. De airco is heel goed. Heel behulpzaam personeel en overal superschoon.

Close to restaurants and the port and yet still quiet at night.

Air conditioner didn’t seem to work which wasn’t a big problem in late May but would be in summer.

Beliggenheten og det var så koselig hotell. Kort vei til alt og nydelig takterasse. Litt kjipt og gammelt bad, men det gikk greit.

Badet

The hotel was very well located to the centre of hydra town, right next to all the bars/restaurants/shops and had a very nice veranda where all the guests had access to. The room was clean, basic but with traditional style which we liked.

The only issue for us was the mattress which we found very uncomfortable. Also a basic renovation to the shower would add more space to the whole bathroom.
