Uporto House Residence

Location: pretty close to the conference site. The facilities were ok, not state of the art but ok. Rooms were fine and clean. The pool was how I expected it to be

no hairdryer in the room. The gym room is just a room with an iron table.

Almost everything i came there to relax and I did. Everything so clean . Privacy so good.

I would have had wc in every room

Clean and smart. Host was pleasant and helpful

Long walk back from the metro when the university gates are locked and you can't take a shortcut. However, Uber is very cheap.

The kitchen area is nice and kept clean and organized, the pool looked great, and the place was kept clean and well maintained.

The walls are paper thin so that you can hear someone sneezing in the room next to you, or people walking by, and everything they do in the kitchen. It is a nice place for travelers, but it's a bit difficult if you need to work and require quiet. It's also difficult as people stay up late.

It was very suitable as it was close to my nephew’s student accommodation and was a 15 minute journey on metro into centre of Porto.
