Northern Breeze Hotel

The hotel team was very kind and accepted last minute changes of dates of stay (we had to arrive one day later than reserved and to leave one day earlier unfortunately). This flexibility with our last minute changes is highly appreciated and not taken for granted! As well the front desk team assisted us in communication with the ebike renting company and made sure we don't pay extra (the key just disconnected from the ebike during a drive and got lost. Make sure you have the key secured to the scooter while driving). Again- not taken for granted and appreciated! As well the breakfast team we very smiley and super attentive to the point of small polite gestures like moving the jam bowl a bit closer to you as an act of honouring us, the guests. That was very sweet of them.

The room was very dark, the window was facing a dark fence about 50 cm from it so not much light was coming inside. Hotel staff members were making noise outside the room starting around 06:00 every morning. The floor in our room was not clean when we checked in. After our request to clean it, it was cleaned but not very well. Breakfast was delayed 40 minutes on our day of departure. After waiting those 40 minutes (and delaying our taxi by 10 minutes), we had to leave with just a few bites to a 10 hours bus ride to Yangon. Seems that while the front desk team is doing above and beyond to satisfy the customers, other teams of the hotel lack a bit of training and discipline, even if they have good intentions.
