"Fantastic location, charming building and rooms, great breakfast and staff"

9.0

Fantastic building (that could as well be a museum) with great charm; excellent location with a view on the cliffs and the sunset over the sea; beautiful garden; great breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

The walls and ceilings are a tad thin, so you may hear your neighbors, but it really didn't bother me

Fantastic location near to Visby but in a lovely quiet area. Amazing views from the room and balcony outside. There was lots of seating areas around and the gardens were beautiful. It's also within walking distance of the beach and a little cafe. The room was simple but had everything we needed.

When we arrived at check-in no one greeted us or explained to us about the hotel. They gave us a key a d then followed us out to kind of show us where the room was but it was very strange. I don't know if it was a language barrier but it made for a strange first impression of the hotel. Breakfast was simple and there were very few options for vegans. Having clear labels would have helped. It turns out the hotel was home to a princess and is also a bit like a museum which was interesting. It was strange that this wasn't mentioned in the information about the hotel.

"A special place by the sea with amazing sunsets"

9.0

The seaview is incredible. You can wach the most beautiful sunsets here. A peacefull oasis. A museum and a hotel in one, because all the history in this place. Loved the stonebeach down by the hotel.

The breakfast is quite basic but still all you need.

"good value for money and few irritations."

9.0

A beautiful historic pension with generous breakfast and a lovely setting close to the sea.

Climbing 44 steps on a spiral staircase to our room and a wardrobe with a broken door.

Absolutely stunning location, by the beach, with an amazing balcony overlooking the area. The most special stay you can imagine.

Bed matrasses could be more comfortable.
