Location was amazing, Marija was lovely, very helpful.

It is a scam. It's not clearly mentioned that it's a room within a small flat of an elderly lady and her husband. Though she tried to be friendly, it is certainly immoral to trick travelers this way. Also, there's no wifi, they don't speak English almost at all, no air conditioning inside the room, busy central noisy neighborhood. You don't even get the front door keys, you have to ring them every time. Avoid

Mama Marija was an awesome host. She made it feel like I was part of her own family. What a lovely personality she is. It is a shared space. So, a similar feel to being in a hostel but with only private rooms with your own key to lock the door for added security and privacy. I usually go for hotels or private airbnbs but I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Zadar, even if it’s only for a night or two to just see Mama Marija again. What a lovely soul. (I reserved last minute, the day of. No issues whatsoever) Her English isn’t fluent but she gives a great attempt. Her English is way better than my Croatian, still had no troubles at all.

The owener, Marija, was so hospitable. And she was making so much effort to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Everything was great. The location is the best it can be!

Great location right in the center and a really pleasant stay! Marija was really welcoming and makes you feel like at home.
