Perfect Shore Guest House

Clare and Alex are so lovely guys. Our stay was pretty amazing, the property is excellent and there is so much space. Also had a surfing lesson with Alex, highly appreciate!

Alex went out of his way to make our time wonderful. Claire and Alex created a lovely guest house with a well organised kitchen and Alex was so flexible and kind in taking us around and fetching us from the bus stop. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious with a desk for each of us. We enjoyed using the bicycles.

This was our second perfect stay at Perfect Shore. Alex and Clare are the most welcoming, informative and helpful hosts. Their guesthouse is aesthetically and thoughtfully decorated and absolutely immaculate. Our room was spacious and attractive and the most comfortable bed of our many stops on this trip to Portugal. We really appreciate the large and fully equipped communal kitchen. We love the surrounding neighborhood. Wonderful restaurants and pastelerias are a short walk away. Can’t wait to return!

It was perfect! Absolutely no complaints.

We felt like we were at home. Beautiful set out from the bedrooms to the kitchen and outdoor area was lovely and their was parking right outside the front door. Area is so central ,yet far enough to be away from the noise of city life.Alex and family welcomed us as friends.

One of the best - if not the best - accommodation we've been to. It deserves more than a 10! Easy check-in, nice room, comfy bed, big and well equiped kitchen, cool outside area, everything was clean, we were allowed to use bikes to get around and last but not least: super, super friendly hosts! Thanks Clare and Alex for having us!

The bedroom was super clean. we loved the backyard and breakfast. The hosts are amazing, super nice, helped us out with places to eat and visit, and Alex was awesome in the surf lessons. Really nice location, away from noise and the house was really cool.

The Perfect Shore Guest House was perfect in every way. The owners, Alex and Clare, were hospitable and helpful. In fact, when Alex found out I was visiting the area to investigate rental properties, he picked up his phone and called a neighbor in the real estate field to inquire about possibilities for me. Unbelievable! The house is beautiful inside and has everything one would need to have fun--surfboards, skateboards, bicycles, etc. I chose the room with its own en suite bathroom. The room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is large and open, with all the gadgets one might want to make coffee, juice, to cook, etc. The enclosed garden space has lots of places to sit and drink coffee plus I noticed showers for surfers and their wetsuits. It was somewhat rainy when I visited, but when the sun peeked out, I enjoyed sipping my coffee in the garden.

I loved everything about it. My only dislike was something out of the owners' control, which was what sounded like a pack of dogs barking and barking one night. The owners don't have pets. These were neighborhood dogs. Can't be helped. I actually experience this where I live in Portugal, too.

The room was immaculate, very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very kind and attentive. The shared kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal and the breakfast was really good. I will definitely return to take the surf lessons I didn't take and that now I regret!

Location might be a bit tricky without a car.
