The Hill Guesthouse

We were upgraded to The Hill Hotel.Breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and the common facilities were very nice set up including outside jacuzzi

The floor in the bathroom had wrong inclination - needs to be fixed

Breakfast does not include, therefore, no experience. The room is not linked to the reception area, on the other side of the street where the reception area located, therefore, a little bit of inconvenience.

The rooms were a good size and clean and fresh. The location was quiet and parking was easy. The views from the dining room were lovely. Staff on the front desk on arrival were very helpful and welcoming. 20% discount at the Secret Lagoon Our dinner was decent. Reasonable value for money ( for Iceland)

It was a very pleasant stay, just a few niggles. The room was very dimly lit and was quite hot, with limited option for ventilation. No English breakfast/‘ordinary’ tea in room or at breakfast. ( this is an easy fix) Main courses arrived before we had finished our starters, so we felt a bit rushed. Seemed understaffed in the restaurant.

The location was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location right on the river was beautiful and the view is outstanding crew.

One of the three rooms did not have blackout drapes on the sliding patio doors, which was unfortunate with only two hours of dark at night. Two of the other rooms had blackouts on at least those doors, though. Not sure why they didn’t provide it on the one, but it was difficult to sleep, even as exhausted as we were pretty. Other than that the day was good.

We kregen een upgrade naar het Hill hotel. Mooie kamer, goed restaurant en heerlijke hottub.

Kamer was niet overal even schoon en doucheruimte wat verouderd.
