The great hospitality Home away from Hime feel

It was very clean, had everything a business traveller could need, helpful staff even with a late check in and a very tired and grumpy customer. They went all out to try to apologise and resolve my problems and were amazingly gracious with my unhappiness at the issues, even upgrading my room and giving me complimentary drinks to try to help. Welcoming staff and a very quiet and peaceful place, the bed was clean and comfortable and the room had all advertised amenities. Overall a really good spot to stay, I wish Irene and the team the best, and some customers less lost than I was!

The location was very difficult to find and not well communicated, not signposted at all despite being so complicated to get to, including a wrong Google Maps reference to lead guests astray until they phone the number that calls the wrong person in another country, and so I spent 45 minutes in the dark late at night doing loops through the neighbourhood trying to find the obscure location. Eventually the message got to Irene who did her best to help, but it still took us ages to find the place under instructions like "it just goes up the hill" (unhelpful on a road that goes up a hill from a valley for many kilometers), and "turn right near the property with bushes". We eventually won though after much heartache and lost sleep! Please put a location at the security boom where maps can get clients as close as possible without the false roads, and then either call or message them to explain clearly where to go from there? I know it is not the lodge's fault the maps are inaccurate, but there are ways to work around it better than my experience. The TV and aircon were not operational, and the pillows need replacing as they are very lumpy and difficult to sleep on.

The location was close to the area where I had my business meetings. It was nice and quiet.

I was required to pay cash on site. Online payments are more convenient and hassle-free. The hot water didn't work after the first day. The water pressure was poor, and so the cold showers lasted longer than I would like. The bed linen and towels were not changed once, even though I was there for three nights. I requested a suite but got allocated a room with a double bed instead which was small. Nobody engaged our team at any point about the comfort of our stay.
