It’s located in the old town but still very close to the city center so everything was within a walkable distance but winding down at the property after a busy day felt lovely and peaceful. Also located on a VERY hilly section of the city so be sure to have comfortable shoes. Booked the room that had a window overlooking the water which was wonderful, every facility included was working fine and rooms were clean. Even if the bathroom was shared, I was fortunate that the other guests did not linger too long in there and it was kept clean thanks to daily housekeeping. Did not have any issue with noise or shared amenities as I was often out in Lisbon more than at the property so this could be different for someone else’s experience. Property manager was nice and told us everything we needed to know, and house-keeping staff were equally as nice and respectful. Overall I felt my stay was amazing value for my money, initially was apprehensive as it is a hostel but it served its purpose. It is not a glamourous propery by any means, but a good place if you just want somewhere to sleep and shower while you spend more of your day and night enjoying what Lisbon has to offer.
