Sweet Suites Guesthouse close to famous Avenue Liberty

The bed was very comfortable. Location is good, walking distance from bairo alto bars, and there is a great view 10 minutes walking from the apartment, but requites to go up a lotttt of stairs! In my opinion, it's worth it (the view, not the apartment)!

Almost everything. The building is old, and looks hunted, it's a building for Adam's family maybe, I don't know how to properly describe it. But trust me, it's not a pretty sight. To enter, you would need 3 codes: one for the building, one for the apartment and one for the room. It's hard to remember them all. Code did not work sometimes and there was no one to talk to at 1 am... I felt unsafe as a solo traveler to go up at night. Note the slope to get there requires you to be in good shape, and it made me think twice before going out to get a coffee outside. The buildings in front are being renovated at the moment (June 23), do expect noise and police presence every morning. No fun. Bottom line -feels like via dolorosa to get back to the apt. The kitchen is shared and the fridge is not clean at all! In addition , you hear everything your neighbors are doing and it was bad, especially at night when they go up and close doors. It literally woke me up several times, and scared me. The room wasn't too clean, hair was everywhere, and the smell wasn't great either. It was ridiculously expensive for it's value, and I can't believe they had the nerve to send me a welcome message that says: "We kindky remind you that now there is not a room with a private bathroom in the very central of Lisbon... We also count on you tolerance if something does not meet uou expectation... ". Real shame for hospitality providers to write something like that, they are not doing me a favor, I paid almost 100 eu per night for this without real amenities or breakfast (or toilet paper refill). I stayed there as Lisbon was too booked and I came spontaneously and ran out of options. I should have taken a less attractive location, anyway taxis are cheap and transportation is very comfortable.

When I arrived, there was a banana peel in the trash. I love bananas, but the garbage could be removed ☺

We had an excellent stay. The location was great, the air conditioning amazing, everything was clean and organised. The instructions were great as well! There’s an ATM and a small market nearby. We certainly will came back. Thaíse and Hugo.

The place is really in a good location. You can reach Arch by foot in 15mins. So good to have wc and shower in the room without sharing with someone else;)

I am not a perfectionist, but really in bathroom you can see a lot of mold in every tile, on mirror, even on sink. Seems like host trying to solve it by using a lot of things: special cleaners, ventilation. Besides that, nothing bad to say ;)

The room was nice and comfortable and in a great location. Very clean and great wifi.

Walls are super thin so you could hear the other guests. Particularly annoying when they arrive late at night.

It was nice to have my own little guesthouse. It looked cute and was in walking distance from a lot of sights and things to do.

It could’ve been a little cleaner. There were still some hairs in the bathroom and there was dust in the corners. Also it would’ve been nice to have a little fridge or something to keep groceries cool.
