"Wonderful stay at a first rate lodge"

Wonderful location. Great views of the mountains. Wild animals roaming at the lodge. Nothing like waking up with wildebeest and impala on the lawn, or coffee with a view of giraffe walking past. Even lucky enough to see two lions pass during dinner one evening. Excellent game drives, very friendly staff. Breakfast in the bush one morning.

"Perfect safari experience in South Africa"

Visiting Makongo Hills was the highlight of our South Africa holiday! We saw ture African beauty there! We had 4 game drives in total, our guide Brett was so knowledgeable about animals and great with our 4-year-old boy. So lucky for us that we saw the lion family in one morning. Kaylene, Bekiwe and other staff were super friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Not really a complaint, but I have to say the food portion was huge. It almost tripled how much we usually ate at home. Makongo hills contributed a lot to our holiday weight.
