"Perfect location when visiting Matera"

Our expectations were exceeded - the location on the old city was amazing and the room spacious , bright and clean. The hosts were more than accommodating - assisting with hauling the luggage up and down the stairs and returning h up a delicious breakfast on our deck area.

Matera is a magical experience and La Corte Dei Pastori Luxury only added to it. Each day started with an amazing breakfast on the balcony under the fig tree while admiring the view of the Sassi and ended in the same place enjoying the lights of the old city…Tiziana and Domenico were great hosts!

"A great spot in an amazing city!"

What a fantastic location… a cave room under a rock church. The patio views are outstanding and the host are helpful and accommodating. Matera is a must visit and this is a great place to stay. Also eat at Bollicine, so fantastic.
