Villa Marianna

Clean, spacious, and very peaceful.

A bit tricky accessing the beach.

We stayed 2 nights in April to explore the coastline after spending some days hiking in the inner Abruzzo. We really appreciated the host Gianluca for welcoming us warmly, the good suggestions for restaurants and the great breakfast. Villa Marianna is <10 minutes walking distance from a beach with a private access to it. We got 2 good bikes and could explore further towards the Marina di Vasto. All for very competitive price.

Quiet area, surrounded by nature and right by the beach. Wonderful host as well, made me feel right at home. Overall highly recommended

Just so you are aware, there are rail tracks running nearby. But noise was barely audible from inside the room. So no big deal

Breakfast was simple and good. Gianluca, our host, was wonderfully helpful (especially with the use of the translator). We picked this place because it was remote and it is - a beautiful 10-minute walk to the Adriatic. There's not much around there, so we needed to go into Vasto for dinner - which turned out to be a great gift. It's a very nice and very historic town. We wandered, and found a restaurant that served excellent seafood. This is NOT a fancy hotel - but the room with the wraparound balcony was hard to leave. We were on a one-night fly-by but wished we could have stayed much longer.

Our own timing could have been better - we wished we had arrived much earlier and been able to leave later. We would have preferred to find our way to Vasto in the daylight, and to have longer at the sea. Also, the pool there is beautiful and we would have like to be there in the season for that. This is a place we would return to with family, if we could.

Absolutely nothing

We only stayed one night but loved everything about this place: our room was spotless, spacious and well thought out, the area is beautiful and the sea is only a few minutes away (we met boars on our afternoon walk to the beach, and a fox later in the evening, on our way back from a lovely restaurant), the breakfast was delicious and Gianluca, the manager, was extremely friendly and kind. The only reason we did not stay longer is that we had to attend a wedding further south! :D

Gianluca was a wonderful host using Google translate to communicate more clearly with us. The room had a wee balcony with a distant sea view. Wow the breakfast was the best we have had in some time. You could use bikes or walk to the beach. Also Gianluca gave us a great rec for a meal.

Well I thought I had booked right in Vasto which it is not so probably my fault for not looking at details
