Alpine Guesthouse

It’s very convenient.7mins walk to the Gondola and Lawson. The stop of ski bus is opposite the property. The staff are very friendly. Definitely will come back again.

It’s like a hostel rather than a guesthouse and therefore has more of a hotel vibe - which I liked. It’s still very Japanese-style though if that’s important to you. My room had its own toilet and sink and the shared shower facility was excellent (but this has seemed standard in Japan). My bed was super comfy - the duvet was so thick and soft. Manager was kind and spoke a little English which was helpful for me. While not in the centre of Furano, there are a few cute local restaurants, and a 24 hour convenience store within a few hundred metres. Nice views.

Clean, quiet

Too many rules. I felt like at a boarding school. Like no rolling suitcases because the floor is linoleum! No garbage cans in rooms! The toilet only has a little curtain around it, The manager needs to relax and smile and make people feel at home!

Right at the base of the mountain, you can't get a better location.

Anyone who complains about this place is an idiot.
