Cantik Villa

The location was great, also has nice kitchen by the beach panoramic view, room was great too big and comfortable

The breakfast selections too short, only 2 choices (which are banana pancakes/ omelette) I am a morning big eater so I cook my own xtra breakfast after

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was good value for money and it had a nice view of the beach.

The room had everything we needed. The bathroom was large with a nice hot shower. In front of the room we had our own relaxing sofa which was nice. The pool was clean and big enough. Ana helped us wherever he could and the owner was mostly availible via whatsapp. The breakfast was alright.

The location is a little further away from the main road and the centre of Lovina, however, as it is located on the hill you get a really nice view in return! Rooms were a little noisy, although it was no problem for us.

Almost all the time we were alone in the property, no staff there but when Ana was there we had a lot of fun, he is a nice person

The house is beautiful located in a place where you have a beautiful view. Ana is very nice and friendly and the cat is nice too!

When you arrive there is no one to help you with your luggage or help you check in. Ana arrived after sometime. The owner also is suffering a huge amount of stress I think which makes him irascible. I was understanding as I also had some stress before in my life but then noticed that he was the same with the other guests too. He also says that the guests are problematic but if you have problems with all the guests you have to change something about your way to communicate and im sure it can make things better. I asked for butter and jam for breakfast which is a given here and anywhere in the world actually and he said no because he will be loosing money 🤷🏻‍♀️ w he explained the situation I understood but then talked with the other guests and he refused an earlier breakfast (7 instead of 8) to another couple and a late check out (1 instead of 12) to a couple that was stuck un traffic, in both cases very rudely calling them dramatic as he did with me However the staff Anna makes it up for him as he is very very nice and smiling and tries his best to talk english!

Nice view and pool is clean

Within five minutes of arriving I was asked for an additional 100k, I wanted clarification about this so the staff called his boss because he didn’t speak English. The owner of the hotel proceeded to shout at me on the phone for five minutes for simply asking why I was giving an extra deposit. Surprise! I never got this money back, even though my room was in perfect condition. When I complained to Booking about this they alerted the owner (very unsafe and I will be complaining to Booking directly about this). The owner then harassed me over messaged and reported me to the site for ‘damages’ which was just completely untrue. Overall I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable knowing that the owner of this property was so rude and unfriendly. Other guests also mentioned that they had asked for things like clean towels or toilet paper, and had received very long messages back calling them rude and disrespectful. The man needs to work somewhere other than the tourist industry.
